About Doctor

Dr Vedant Kabra is the Head of the Department of Surgical Oncology at Manipal Hospitals, Delhi. He has experience of over 12,000 cancer surgeries and has successfully performed various complex oncological procedures including robotic surgeries. Dr Kabra has special interests in Breast, Gastro-intestinal and Gynecologic Oncology, Robotic Surgery, and other cancers. He has special trainings in Robotic Surgery – Intuitive Surgical (Sunnyvale, US), Tissue Bio-Banking Course (Jules Bordet Institute, Brussels), GI & Hepatobiliary Surgery (National Cancer Centre, Singapore), and Fellowship in Breast Surgery (Tata Memorial Hospital, Mumbai). Dr Kabra has been instrumental in starting department of Surgical Oncology at FMRI, Gurgaon and Max Healthcare. He has been an invited faculty at various international and national conferences, has several papers in peer reviewed journals and four book chapters to his credit apart from various awards for academic excellence. Dr Kabra is passionate about cancer awareness and Tobacco control – having contributed significantly to the country-wide movement of Voice of Tobacco Victims (VoTV) leading to Gutka ban and introduction of pictorial warnings on cigarette packs.
