Dr. Satyendra Katewa, the best oncologist in Delhi, did His MBBS from S P Medical College, Bikaner, Rajasthan. He pursued his Diploma in Child Health (DCH) from Sardar Patel Medical College Bikaner, Rajasthan. Following this He Completed his Diplomate of National Board (DNB) in Pediatrics- From Sir Ganga Ram Hospital, New Delhi and He has done his Fellowship in Pediatric Hematology-Oncology and Bone Marrow Transplant (Indian Academy of Pediatrics)- From Sir Ganga Ram Hospital (SGRH), New Delhi – 2009, Fellowship in Pediatric Hematology-Oncology and Bone Marrow Transplant from University of Toronto, The Hospital for Sick Children “SickKids”, Toronto, Canada in July – 2011. and Observership at Cincinnati Children Hospital, Ohio, USA in Primary Immunodeficiency and Bone Marrow Transplants – 2013.

He is the Only Pediatric Hemato-Oncologist and BMT Physician in Rajasthan with Over 12 Years of Experience and One of the Very Few Experienced BMT Physicians in India. Dr. Satyendra is One of the Pioneer BMT physicians in India Who have Worked Massively to Establish Newer and more Advanced Ways of Pediatric BMT like Haploidentical and Matched Unrelated BMT. His Special Areas of Interest are Less than 100% Matched Donor Bone Marrow Transplants for Diseases like Leukemia, Lymphoma, Aplastic Anemia, Primary Immunodeficiency Diseases, Thalassemia, Sickle Cell Disease, etc

  • Dr. Satyendra Katewa is considered a pioneer in starting Haploidentical (50% HLA-matched) bone marrow transplants for children in India. He also started and established T-depleted (TCR αβ & B cell-depleted transplants) in India. He is one of the most senior pediatric transplanters in India.
