Dr Ajit Pai is a cancer surgeon with a special expertise in cancers of the gastrointestinal tract [stomach, pancreas, colon and rectum], gynaecologic cancers [ovarian, uterine and cervical cancers] and cancers of the foodpipe [esophagus]. He also provides comprehensive care for cancers of the breast, head and neck. He underwent advanced training in Gastrointestinal and pancreatic cancer urgery in Japan and at Heidelberg, Germany. Dr Pai has also completed a fellowship in advanced laparoscopic and robotic surgical techniques for GI cancers at Chicago, USA. He also specializes in the HIPEC procedure for advanced peritoneal surface cancers. He has published extensively in peer reviewed international journals, presented at international meetings and has written several book chapters.
